Morning Sabah People,
Over the last two years, our footwear offering has certainly expanded -- from boots & sandals in Italy to Bolos & hand-tooled Babas in Texas, and, of course our signature Sabah in Turkey.
With this expansion, our core promise has only further crystallized: to craft shoes by hand in partnership with small independent workshops. To use only the highest quality materials, primarily leather. To make footwear that is designed for and inspired by our travels. And, in every instance, to produce the kinds of shoes that wear in, not out — only getting better with every trip.
This wasn't our mission from the start, but one that we developed over years honing our own craft and learning what matters to us & our customers. And, perhaps most importantly, from getting to know the stories of our shoemakers and wanting to support their craft. Handmade shoes are increasingly rare.

Our mission felt especially relevant to me over the last two weeks on the road, where I rotated between a pair of Sabahs, Babas, Porto Sandals, and Alto Boots. Each served its own distinct purpose across a trip that took me through four cities, with weather ranging from rainy and cold to warm and sunny.
We met up with friends in every city, swapping shoes, sharing travel stories and spending long days on our feet. And whether hiking down to the San Marcos River or wading through a market in Mexico City, my shoes were always right for the challenge.
All that to say: as you look ahead to spring and summer travels, I’m confident we have something that will serve you well.
Sincerely,
The Sabah Dealer --

Fort Worth Brown on Renata.

We spent a morning strolling Avenida Amsterdam with our friend, Renata, a local creative, in Mexico City: a flat white & pastry at Buna, a juice from the street cart, and then a leafy green walk admiring the houses.
Renata wore Fort Worth Brown Sabahs for the first half of the morning, and then swapped into a pair of Porto Sandals in Marrone for the rest.

Our Porto Sandals are made with a molded, ergonomic leather sole that supports long days walking plus the slotted construction of the upper keeps the foot securely in place.
Folks are always surprised at just how comfortable these Sandals are... I was too!

A few days around Austin, Texas. We dipped in the San Marcos River, just outside Lockhart, Texas after an afternoon exploring that town known for its barbecue.

Pareos around the waist, post swim, and our Peshtemals as picnic blankets on the grass -- in addition to shoes, make accessories meant to enhance your travels.
