A Note & List From Mickey 💙

Happy Thanksgiving Sabah People,

Wow, do we have a lot to be grateful for this holiday... and, mostly, we're grateful for you.

For everyone who has stepped inside a Sabah House, met us along the way at a pop-up, visited us online, danced with us at a Sabah Sunday, sent us an email, a DM or given us an 'old fashioned' phone call. It is those interactions and relationships that keep us inspired to do good work.

We're sending love and wishing you all a wonderful, warm and delicious day today; however you may spend it.

We hope to see you this weekend at a Sabah House or online at the Sabah Portal, whether to shop or just say hello. Every sale we make during this holiday season means a lot to our independent business.

And finally, below - find a few personal tidbits from me… some things I’ve enjoyed or that have inspired me this holiday season that I think you may enjoy too. Cheers!

Sincerely,
Mickey & The Whole Sabah Family!

Mickey's List

Hopefully, you find yourself with a bit of downtime today or this weekend so here are a few things I've enjoyed lately:

- Train Dreams by Clint Bentley: one of the best films I've seen in a while!
- Interior Chinatown by Charles Yu: it won a National Book Award for good reason; a quick yet deep read!
- Our Not-Your-Usual Holiday Playlist from last year. 'Christmas Music' but not too much.
- Twinless directed by and staring James Sweeney - a dark comedy exploring grief, identity & betrayal
- My go to classic Bolognese that I love to cook and let simmer on a long, lazy Sunday -- not so secret recipe by Marcella Hazan.
- Our O-Ring Speckled Cow Belt -- my go-to way to add a little something to my look!
- Our new Yarn Dye socks are so soft, so comfortable, so fun... a great gift!
- One of these Shearling Hats by the incredible & creative Hannah of Cawley Studio.
- Radiooooo: always a pleasure, tune in and relax.

Where to Next?

Our Sabah Houses are closed today, but back open tomorrow (Friday, Nov 28) through the weekend. Swing by for a cold one in the breeze under our oak tree in Austin, or a crisp glass of white on the couch at Sabah House New York... a little respite amidst the holiday shopping craze!
