So…I’m on The Tamron Hall Show today.
National television. Lawd.
I sat down with Tamron to talk about OUI The People, how I built this company, and the stories that got us here.
When I started OUI The People, I wanted to change the way we talked about our bodies and the products we used on them. I didn’t know then that the road would eventually lead me to fragrance.
But it did. A few years ago, I started thinking about all the scents I couldn’t find. Caribbean kitchens. The seawall in Guyana. Guava trees in the yard. Condensed milk tea. Warm skin. The women who raised me.
So I made them. And somehow that journey led from my memories, to your skin, to me sitting across from Tamron Hall talking about it all.
Wild.
