#EastForkDoesMyDishes with @marcellacooking

Every so often, a photo of our pots stops us mid-scroll. More often than not, it’s one of Marcella’s. Her food—unfussy, generous and full of feeling—looks like something you’d want to eat barefoot in the grass, with a chilled glass of something nice in hand. Marcella runs a micro-restaurant out of her backyard in Los Angeles (yes, really) and sent us some photos from her most recent gathering, with appearances from Yuzu and Prune ! We’re thrilled
to share them with you.

A rotating gif of images from Marcella's backyard meals (and meal prep!)

The week of, we bounce around to a
few farmers markets hunting for produce and fine-tuning all the details. I design
the menus, make flower arrangements, seating charts…every detail is important. The bulk of food prep starts on Thursday and I cook all day Friday and Saturday before our guests arrive for dinner Saturday night. – Marcella Schneiderman, @Marcellacooks

Three images of colorful ceramic plates with exposed rims and colorful, chef-y bites plated on them.

We love to see East Fork in the wild. Be sure to use #EastForkDoesMyDishes and tag us if you share!

Dinner Party Essentials: A few favorites for when friends show up with a bottle of wine and an appetite—or when you're feeling ambitious enough to throw a backyard feast, Marcella-style.
