JC Aevaliotis joined the Arts Work Fund as Interim Executive Director in September 2025 and has served on the Arts Work Fund Steering Committee since 2016. JC has extensive experience in grant making for arts and culture organizations in Chicago, with roles at Polk Bros. Foundation and Driehaus Foundation. Rajeev Kinra (Ph.D., University of Chicago) is Associate Professor of History and Comparative Literary Studies at Northwestern University and a cultural historian of early modern South Asia, focusing on the Mughal Empire and early British colonialism in India.
