I’m a bit biased — though I think some data is backing me — that fathers might just be the most important part of a family unit.
Great fathers bring vision, leadership, stability, care, and are the foundation the family can depend upon. Today, fathers are also asked to bring more than they ever have, and they’re stepping up. I am fortunate that my father is a great man and a great father. I brought him onto our livestream this week to share what fatherhood means. He is someone I can model my life after, and he set me up for success. We don’t get to choose our fathers, and for some of y’all, you are tasked with the very difficult duty of breaking the chain of abuse. If you have not had kids yet, I would encourage you not to shy away from that challenge even though it’s daunting. We all make mistakes as parents; it’s part of life. As long as you live with intentionality, you will be able to make progress and grow. You will help make the next generation even better than our own. Here’s to all the fathers out there and the sacrifices they make to help make the world a much better place. Eric Bandholz Founder
