This email is for my dad, an Army Ranger, and his fellow veterans.
I grew up hearing your stories of training and getting deployed to Germany. The responsibilities put on you as a Captain, and how those experiences shaped you to the man you are today.
You are a man that a family could depend upon, a leader, and someone who elevated his community.
I believe the time you served made you a better person.
I also know that some veterans have had to wear a burden from the time they’ve served. Many burying the pain of losing close friends and handling very stressful situations.
To my dad and all veterans, I want to thank you for your service.
