THIS STUFF IS NUTS
Leonardo da Vinci once said, “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
Okay, maybe he didn’t say that verbatim, but he alluded to it in his journals. He also had an all-time beard, so we’re giving him the benefit of the doubt that he understood the power of a simple yet effective grooming routine.
Well, we’ve done some inventing of our own and came up with an all-timer of a do-it-all Utility Wash.
You might think we're nuts, butBeardbrand Utility Wash is definetely nuts. How nuts? Coconuts!
We harnessed the powers of this hydrating beach fruit to stir up a cleanser that’s gentle enough for your beard, hair, and face but strong enough to wash your… coconuts.
Let’s dig into the surfactants that make this formula a game-changer:
Sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate: the name might sound crazy, but this coconut-derived cleansing agent is a safe, gentle alternative to harsh sulfates and other aggressive surfactants that can strip the hair of its natural oils.
Cocamidopropyl betaine: this hydrating cleanser binds to dirt, helping rid the skin of oil and grime picked up throughout the day. It’s derived from — you guessed it — coconuts!
Sodium methyl cocoyl taurate: in lamens terms, this is a salt derived from coconut fatty acid that is a gentler and more moisturizing alternative to harsher sulfates like SLS and SLES. Sodium methyl cocoyl taurate is so gentle that it’s often used in products formulated for babies.
So yeah, maybe we drank too many pińa coladas or got hit in the head with too many coconuts. Or maybe we just created the greatest beard wash / shampoo / body wash / face wash of all time.
There’s only one way to find out.
