Cashmere Ski Race Knit Sports Club - Vasaloppet

Crafted from 100% Pure Mongolian Cashmere from Botto Giuseppe, which is Cradle to Cradle certified.

Inspired by Sweden’s first King, Gustav I, who, on skis, rallied the men of his country to rebellion and independence which was stoked in the city of Mora and from which the modern-day Vasaloppet ski race is begun in 1922.

Crafted from 100% Pure Mongolian Cashmere from Botto Giuseppe, which is Cradle to Cradle certified.

Often considered one of the first formalized downhill races in the history of alpine sport and the first in North America, the men of Dartmouth College’s Dartmouth Outing Club took to Mount Moosilauke in the state of New Hampshire to put their wooden skis to the test on a makeshift course of planted posts designating the twists and turns of what was to become the future site of the USA’s National Downhill slalom 5 years later. While often debated, the Outing Club’s first Mount Moosliauke race adventure is most widely recognized as the year 1927.
