After long days on snow, members of the legendary Kandahar Ski Club would change from heavy tweeds and gabardine into fine woolen knitwear — pieces worn for the hours between sport & ceremony often composed of natural tones drawn from the mountain itself: chalk, oat, limestone, winter grass.
Garments were tailored & functional, yet elegant enough for the dining room at the Palace Hotel. Cut in a classic sporting silhouette with a clean crew neckline and ribbed hem, the Clubhaus Crew evokes the quiet uniform of early alpine gentlemen — the layer worn beneath a tailored ski jacket or over a crisp shirt at supper.
The soft neutral hues of which recall the sunlit snowfields above Mürren and the limestone faces of the Bernese Oberland.
