Introducing: Eike König

“My biggest inspiration comes from other people. I have always been interested in meeting new people and listening to their stories.”

Eike König is a Berlin-based graphic designer and artist, and he's going through somewhat of a transition at the moment. He finds himself looking for the next step in his artistic practice – or perhaps for a new muse. He’s not forcing anything, though. “It will come”, he says, with the confidence of a man who has been able to find inspiration for decades. Emerging from the techno scene of the 1990s, Eike’s signature style is frequently based on bold typography and social observation, challenging modern branding, consumer culture, and global politics. Bold, sometimes controversial, and always impactful.
