Hope summer is treating you well! I don't love the heat, but I do love how much longer the summer days feel. Feels like we get an extra 3 hours in the day for backyard soccer, cycling, and catching fireflies.
Behind the scenes, I've been quietly working on redesigning our website and it's almost ready to flip the switch. Stay tuned for the launch next week.

Here are 5 things I'm currently digging...
1.
I just upgraded my setup with this Quattro Sit/Stand Desk from Humanscale. I've wanted a sit/stand desk for a while but was never a fan of how most of them look. This one is different since it hides the motor in the telescoping legs. The solid wood top, clean lines, and rounded corners match my aesthetic perfectly. (Humanscale sent me this desk, but I'm not being paid to write this. Just genuinely happy with it and use it every day.)
2.
Some really nice branding for the National Institute of Architecture. Clever use of a literal grid to become the central design element throughout.
3.
Digging these mixed media portraits by Fries Vansevenant.
4.
A house designed by someone who lived in it. Fletcher built this as his own retreat, and you can feel it. A different kind of care when the architect is also the one waking up in the space every day.
5.
These woven art pieces by Raj Jangid are beautiful. Such a simple concept, but it creates a cool dimensional effect.
