Named after the Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, this Monstera is known for its lobed leaves with dramatic cuts that give them an unmistakable flame-like silhouette as they mature. Right now, you're getting in early: these are younger plants, which means you get to watch the whole show unfold.
And it's a good show. As it grows, the leaves become increasingly dramatic. The plant itself can eventually reach over six feet tall with the right support. Bright indirect light, well-draining soil, and a little patience is all it takes. The patience part is on you.
