Dad Jokes Not Included

May 30, 2025, 2:31 PM•ridge

Hey there,

Daniel here, founder of Ridge.

Some of you may have heard this story already, but Father’s Day means quite a bit around Ridge.

Twelve years ago, my dad and I launched Ridge with a simple Kickstarter campaign from our garage. We were just trying to solve something that bugged us both - bulky wallets that fell apart too quickly.

I never imagined that would lead to over 5 million wallets and a company that now makes everything from wedding bands to travel gear. But what makes me proudest isn't the growth - it's that we built it together.

My dad taught me that anything worth making is worth making to last. And it's a principle that shows up in every product we design.

Given how we started, Father’s Day is a special time here at Ridge and, as usual, we’ve launched our best sale of the season.

Whether you're shopping for your dad, are a dad yourself, or just want to treat yourself to something that'll last (no judgment), we've got you covered at https://ridge.com

However you're celebrating the father figures in your life this year, I hope it's a good one.

- Daniel
