Hey there,

Daniel here, founder of Ridge.

I gave the team this week off for the 4th of July, which means I'm temporarily taking over email responsibilities. Fair warning: this might be less polished than usual.

I've been thinking: the team's time off is extremely well-deserved after crushing it these last few months with new product launches and our Father's Day campaign.

But the 4th is actually a uniquely perfect time to celebrate.

You see, we wouldn't be able to do any of this without the opportunities this country gives us. There's something very American about starting in a garage and ending up with gear carried by millions worldwide.

And not only are you part of our story—supporting small businesses and believing in new ideas—but I'm sure you have your own version of taking a shot at something and seeing it through.

If that's not worth celebrating this week, I don't know what is.
