We just released new designs inspired by a story very close to my heart, and I wanted to share a little more about it.
My Pop Pop and I used to watch the sun sink into the ocean, quiet and patient, waiting for the green flash. It’s a rare phenomenon, a flash of green that takes over the horizon line. It lasts only seconds but sailors have considered it good fortune for centuries.
Every single night he’d smile and say he saw it even though every single night I didn’t—he says that’s how fast it is—reminding me that some things only show themselves if you’re fully there, really paying attention.
I wanted to capture those fleeting moments in something you could carry for life. Three styles, three distinct moments at sea: the Oceanlight Collection.
This is one of my favorite releases we’ve ever done, and I can’t wait to see what you think.
