What to wear when you want to be naked.

Hi there,

It’s Hanna again, your resident HR expert, here to remind you that, unfortunately, you do have to wear clothes to work—and no, birthday suits are not the suits referenced in your employee handbook.

I hear you: It’s high summer, you already blew through your most creative warm-weather office looks in June, and you’re daydreaming about where to grab a drink for Summer Friday.

Let’s brainstorm some options that meet your needs and keep OSHA at bay:

Reminder that summer style doesn’t have to be a chore.

Behold some celebrity-inspired summer looks:

1. To channel Jane Birkin’s loose-yet-buttoned-up style, pair:

Bia trouser + Filomina shirt + Sadie sunhat + Peachy tote

You can even go up a size if you’re feeling dramatic. Take the look all the way with a Peachy Tote from our friends at Hat Attack (you could even refer to it as your summer Birkin bag)!

2. To achieve Lupita Nyong’o’s clean-lined silhouette, throw on:

Marta dress + Wide-Stitched belt + Reese earring + Perfect block sandal
