Hi there,
It’s finally here: Our September collection. I could not be more excited to share it with you. I spent the better part of last year with my hands on these fabrics: pressing the bouclé knits between my fingers, pinning our Heritage Plaid on mood boards, and considering which aubergine was just the right balance of luxurious and timeless. Your wardrobe is one of the few things you get to experience with your whole being: no app can tell you how a fabric feels against your skin, or which vivid jewel tone opens you up to the most alive version of yourself. Getting dressed is one of the great joys of being human, and I hope that these pieces light you up, inside and out, as we head into this busy fall season ahead.
Here’s how I’m building my own fall wardrobe around this new launch. Five rules, each one an excuse to get curious:
• Turn to heritage fabrics that speak for themselves: One look at the O’Hara blazer in Heritage Plaid and I feel like I’m in the middle of a classic Hollywood movie, coming home from a long ride through the countryside to stables wreathed in golden hour. This is the type of jacket you invest in once and reach for every autumn for the next 15 years: a rich plaid with a long, elegant hem and a line kept slim through the shoulder so it always reads sharp. Pair it with pleated trousers for that important conference or weekend wedding in the mountains, or with your favorite Milo jeans when it’s just you, your apple cider, and the farmer’s market on your weekend schedule.
• Suit yourself in autumn tones. The fastest way to embrace the new season is to welcome fall hues even before the leaves turn. Travel-ready Everyday Crepe is here in a dreamy Hazy Mauve, with dyed to match Eco Soft Wave tops so you can dress head to toe in seconds. Try the O’Hara blazer (one of my favorites) with the pleated Bia trouser, and add the Antonia top in the same shade underneath. Soft and sophisticated—just how we like it.
• Dress to ignite your sense of touch. This fall marks the debut of 365 Silk Cashmere, our first-ever silk-cashmere blend, in two fan-favorite top silhouettes: the elbow-length Shani and longer-sleeved Kit. Its dry, near-weightless handfeel means it’s well-suited to both warm fall afternoons and the winter that will be here soon enough. You’ll feel like a kid in a candy store when you see the colors we have for you to play with: from smoky spice to jammy fig, soft olive, and calming sky blue. To make this deal even sweeter: our 365 Silk Cashmere Bundle lets you take 15% off two, and 20% off three. Spoiler alert: I took all four (I just had to have them all).
• Welcome unexpected prints and textures. Florals in fall sound like a contradiction, but they’ll make complete sense when you see our new Light Printed Jersey in Petal Print. Start with the slinky Johanna dress, featuring a gathered effect that skims the waist, and a skirt that swings when you walk. Then the easy-to-reach-for-and-layer tops: the ruched Franka and the Axam turtleneck, both made to slip under a blazer or peek out from a jardigan. And speaking of: after selling out last spring, the Evangeline is back in a richly textured burgundy-and-ivory boucle that will elevate anything you’re wearing, from a dress at the office to the tees and jeans you throw on for Saturday errands.
• Finish your look with pieces you’ll want to hold on to. Your outfit will come alive with the right accessories, and this season, I’m thrilled to introduce you to two very special partners. The first is Visonà, a family-run heritage Italian leather-goods house whose Vittoria bags we’re carrying for the first time. They’ve been masters of their craft for over 65 years, and women make up over 95% of their team. The second is Inoui Edition scarves, whom I first fell in love with on a trip to Paris over a decade ago. Their pieces are wearable art that you can style as a scarf, tie into a wrap top, or loop through a belt. Et voila! You’ve got the finishing touch that turns an outfit into your outfit.
Ready to get started? You can shop the full September collection here. As always, the good stuff moves quickly, so I wouldn’t wait too long to make it yours. Can’t wait to hear what you think.
This is your season, Jenn Head of Design
