Hi there,
Our October collection is here, and I’ve been waiting all year to put it in your hands. It's soft, a little sensual, and designed to be savored: think, 100% cashmere with real depth, textural tweeds that reward a second look, and sculptural blouses and draped dresses that flow and flatter. I designed these styles to complement the season of delight unfolding around us, and I hope you feel every bit of the care our team poured into it.
Here are three ways I'm styling this launch:
Play with your colors: There's a subtle power in committing to a single shade, but it’s especially fun when you explore the full spectrum of that shade. Try the Yiyan blazer and Bia pant in Bordeaux Heritage Tweed, a linen-and-wool blend flecked with real depth and a winey richness. Layer them over the Davina sweater in Lush Merlot, which is made with 100% long-haired cashmere with a brushed hand so plush you'll catch yourself petting your own sleeve. Add the Len belt in dark brown for a pop of tonal interest, and pair with the Riley 50 mule by Black Suede Studio. Finish with the Deedra earrings for a touch of gold warmth.
Spice up your go-to neutrals. Classic hues like black and camel gain an extra dimension when styled with warmer tones. Here, the Leo sweater in Spiced Cherry adds a pop of heat to the topstitch O'Hara blazer and Bia pant in Black. Add extra impact with your accessories: Tie the red Inoui Editions scarf to your black Visona bag, and reach for the Cal earrings for a subtle golden glow.
Make cashmere an every day decision. We could all use a little luxury in our day to day, and our new 100% cashmere styles are, to paraphrase Audrey Hepburn, always a good idea. First, we have the Giselle, a classic cable-knit crew: cozy for your Sunday park stroll, and polished under your blazer on Monday. Then there’s Leo, an easy pullover with ribbed sleeves, distinctive trim, and an open collar for a little edge. Last but not least we have the Davina, a lush long-haired cashmere unlike anything we’ve ever produced before. All three come in shades worth collecting—spiced cherry, chocolate ganache, blue melange, mineral pink. Feeling is believing: get one of these against your skin and you'll see why I couldn't stop at a single color.
You can shop the full October collection here. As always, the pieces I love most have a way of going first, so I wouldn't wait too long. Can't wait to hear what you think.
Softly does it, Jenn Head of Design
