Hi there,
Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I’ve been so busy prepping our big weekend sale that I’m having trouble believing that summer is finally here. I’m determined to squeeze every last drop out of this season, and, naturally, I made a list.
Here are a few moments I’m looking forward to:
- Far Away: We’re heading to Norway! It’s not exactly a tropical vacation, but I’m excited to explore nature and experience something totally new. I’m excited for long daylights and a chance to cozy up in my Kim sweater, which reminds me a bit of the traditional Norwegian fisherman sweater. Skål!
- Close to Home: One of my favorite things about a New York summer is rooftop dinners. Everything tastes better in fresh air, and the people-watching is unreal. Expect to see me lounging cross-legged in the Milano Dress, sipping a spritz and taking in the view.
- Milestones: My oldest son, Jeffry, is graduating from kindergarten. I’m so proud, excited, and overwhelmed. I will be dressed appropriately and I will not cry. (But the Blanche top is machine-washable, just in case I do.)
- Classics: I’ve planned a trip to the Catskills to celebrate my husband, Jeff, for Father’s Day. I’m hoping for some nostalgic family fun, including riding the ski lift, spending hours at the hotel pool, and watching the fireflies. I’ll be bringing the Louella sweater for its elevated casual look as well as its large pockets–perfect for all the treasures (aka rocks) my boys find.
- Grand Finale: We cap off every summer the same way with Labor Day in Nantucket. The last night is its own tradition: early dinner at Millie's so we can make it to Madaket for sunset. I also (embarrassingly) coordinate everyone's sweaters for the requisite family photo, which, yes, often becomes the holiday card. This year, I'm angling for the Kiko sweater. All those blues — made for it.
Lucky for you, all the items on my packing list are currently on sale during our Memorial Day Weekend Sale. Snag them, and loads more, for up to 70% before midnight tonight.
