How I ✨manifested✨ our Target launch
Hey Dream Team,
We’re officially ONE WEEK away from Alleyoop making its Target Beauty Studio debut and it still feels surreal to say that. ✨
Getting here has been over 7 years in the making—and looking back, I realized there were a few moments where I was manifesting this milestone before I even knew it.
When I was first dreaming up Alleyoop, I used to walk the aisles of Target for inspiration. I’d study the packaging, the products, everything on the shelves, and tell myself, one day, we’re going to be in a major retailer like this.
Years later, I made the really hard decision to turn down an opportunity with another retailer because something about it just didn’t feel right. Literally TWO DAYS LATER, I got an email about Target wanting to meet with us.
But the biggest thing I did? I went into our Target pitch believing it had already happened. Instead of trying to convince the buyer to take a chance on us, I approached the conversation like I was simply showing her everything that made Alleyoop special.
And now… here we are.
