The other day on a call, we laughed about how the final sprint into the holidays feels a bit like that final minute on a treadmill—or the last quarter-mile of a race—when the finish line’s in site, but the heart is pounding and the legs are tired and the sprint between here and there lands you at your destination ready for rest. And so here we are, one year ending and another beginning, with all the promise and possibility that brings.
While there’s so much to say about the year that’s drawing to a close, if we were to summarize it in a word, it would be transformation. From the business moving online to offline, our extended family of customers growing even more rapidly than we expected, new styles that have become brand signatures in matters of months, or a new HQ to house our growing team, nothing was left unchanged. Everything feels a little bigger, a little buzzier—the sense of possibility in the air.
And in the midst of all of this change, we’ve thought a great deal about how we protect the essence of the thing. How do you grow a team, but keep a long-cherised culture? How do you grow a product line while ensuring every product is released with purpose? How do you speak to more customers with the same care and intimacy as when it was just four of us around a table all those years ago?
We can’t say that we know the answers to those questions, or that we’ll always get it right, but it’s something we’ll carry with us into the new year ahead. You’ll soon see all that we’ve been dreaming up for 2026, from collaborations and new products to outposts in new corners of the country (and the world). Yes, those dreams are big, but they’re grounded in our team’s thoughtfulness and commitment to the mission and the work that’s only deepened with time.
Whether you’ve been a part of the Margaux family for a long time or short, we hope you have a very happy and restful holiday—and wish you the very best for the new year ahead.
