A Limited-Edition Japanese Damascus Knife Launches This Week - Join the Waitlist

Jul 14, 2025, 11:00 AMmadeincookware
Hi there,

My team has spent the past year in Seki, Japan, designing a knife unlike any other in our collection—and I bet one that will be entirely new to your knife block.

Meet the Kamagata: This blade is famous around the Kansai region (near Osaka) for its distinct shape and sheepsfoot-style tip that offers exceptional control for slicing and for clean vegetable cuts, especially when working with firm vegetables.  It brings together the slicing power of a Nakiri with the detailed control of a utility knife.

Each knife features a one-of-a-kind Damascus pattern across 67 layers of VG-10 stainless steel, making it as visually stunning as it is razor-sharp. Each unique blade is then paired with a Moabi wood handle featuring an exclusive mosaic pin rivet, making each one of these knives a truly exceptional piece of craftsmanship.

Some highlights:
  • Damascus steel blade with VG-10 stainless steel core
  • Flat edge and sheepsfoot-style tip for control and efficiency
  • Moabi Wood handle with exclusive mosaic pin
  • Limited-edition release—only 2,000 available
This is a limited run, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Launching Wednesday, July 16. Join the waitlist now to secure early access.
