Hemp Access Is Under Threat

Yesterday, the House passed an appropriations bill with language that would restrict access to hemp-derived products, including full-spectrum CBD. This language was slipped into a crucial spending bill, rather than being discussed or voted on by lawmakers. The bill was signed by the President last night (November 12, 2025), and we now have one year to lobby for responsible regulation.

The new regulations will not come into effect until November of 2026, meaning that your access to Lazarus Naturals products will remain unchanged over the next year. Additionally, even assuming the worst after one year is up, not all Lazarus Naturals products would fall under this ban.

Over the next 12 months, we, along with our allies in the hemp industry, will fight tooth and nail for new hemp legislation. We will persevere and are fully committed to continuing operations. We remain steadfast in our mission to ensure that safe, affordable, and reliable hemp-based wellness remains available for you.
While these new regulations create challenges, this is not a done deal. We have one year, strong public support, and active advocacy on our side. This industry has overcome obstacles before, and we intend to keep fighting for safe, regulated hemp products to be available to everyone.
