Ivan Dimitrov's VIGILIA – A Gothic Horror Short |
"Silverlake Scream Show’s mission is to elevate the voices of singularly gifted horror creators and we loved what we saw with the Vigilia campaign. The challenge of creating a horror period piece is intriguing on its own but it was Ivan’s commitment to a handmade style of filmmaking that really caught our attention. It takes a tremendous amount of determination to make a short even with the modern conveniences of digital filmmaking but to step backwards into the wild realm of 16mm in a remote outdoor location is even more daring. It scares the hell out of us, and we’re all about scary! Consider supporting this project as well as helping us make our stretch goal! Also Ivan, hit us up, we’d love to include you in a future Scream Show!"
