Backed by Backers:
A Steam Festival Powered by Kickstarter
From April 14–21, we’re teaming up with Crytivo to bring something new to Steam: Backed by Backers, a festival spotlighting video games that are actively crowdfunding, or have successfully crowdfunded, on Kickstarter.
For one week, 400+ creators will be featured across Steam, putting Kickstarter-backed games in front of one of the largest and most engaged gaming audiences in the world.

Meet Josh Chiodo, the Indie Game Curator. While most people discover games through algorithms and trending lists, Josh has made it his mission to uncover tomorrow's indie obsessions before they become yesterday's news. |
Josh has spent the last 12 years in the indie space as a curator and a dedicated Superbacker, obsessed with finding the hidden gems that push the boundaries of tabletop and digital design. After a decade of supporting other people's dreams, he's partnering with Jakub and Daniela, a husband-and-wife duo from the Czech Republic, to bring their debut project to life.
His goal with Indieformer has always been to bridge the gap between brilliant creative ideas and the community that loves them, and Feed the Scorchpot is the perfect embodiment of that mission. |
Feed the Scorchpot is a "cozy-chaotic" tabletop roguelike about dice, dragons, and a 20-year dinner service contract you’re desperate to survive. Inspired by the broken-combo energy of Balatro and the strategic tension of Slay the Spire, players build a hex-tile island economy to harvest ingredients and cook increasingly absurd meals for a fire-breathing guardian. With hand-drawn medieval art and over 20 unique dice types, it’s a game where you’ll feel like a strategic genius one second, and a panicked chef the next.
