I love the feeling September brings—the energy of the city picking back up and routines returning, while still holding onto some of the ease of summer out on Long Island. That movement between town and country was the inspiration for our September GWYN drop, so it felt fitting to celebrate the fall collection downtown during New York Fashion Week.

After months of moodboarding, living with fabrics, and obsessing over every detail of the shoot, there’s something incredibly satisfying about finally seeing the clothes out in the world and seeing how other people make them their own. We asked some friends who joined us last weekend in New York to share their favorite pieces and how they’re planning to style them this fall.

Love,
Gwyneth

“ so many things in my life I've failed at so many times. I always look at it like, the only way you're gonna make it is if you have full amnesia to failure. I can fail, and then the next morning be like, ‘what failure?’”

5 thought-provoking Novels to Discuss and Debate This Fall

where - Varua Te Ora Polynesian Spa at the Brando, Tetiaroa, French Polynesia

who - Alexa Raff, chief marketing officer

what - A romantic and tranquil spa, located on Marlon Brando’s private island turned eco-resort.

the details - Designed in collaboration with architect Pierre-Jean Picart, the treatment rooms are shaped like oversized birds’ nests, tucked among the trees and connected by pathways through the surrounding vegetation. The design blends seamlessly into the landscape, making each treatment feel private and immersed in nature.

field notes - If you're here with a partner, book a couples massage—it was genuinely the best we've ever had—and plan to linger afterward with tea overlooking the lagoon.
