I’m always curious to hear what business books people are reading. A mentor of mine recommended that I read The Obstacle Is the Way by Ryan Holiday. It’s all about reframing obstacles into opportunities, which I know sounds pat, but I’m finding the framework to be helpful.

In my experience at goop, it often has been the case that a challenge, as opposed to an easy success, can more deeply illuminate the true growth potential of the business and the team. But how do we identify the upside? How do we not waste the potential lesson while we’re in the storm trying to weather it? That’s what this book dives into.
