All Google Accounts give you 15 GB of storage. You use that storage when you send and receive emails on Gmail, back up to Google Photos, and create and upload files on Google Drive. If you use all your storage, you may experience interruptions to these services.
To avoid interruptions to service, you can always get more storage by signing up for Google One. Otherwise, you can use the Google One storage manager to clean up space by deleting large or unwanted files until your storage usage is under 15 GB.
What is Google One?
Google One is a membership that offers expanded storage and additional member benefits‡ — all in one shareable plan.
