Hi there,
maude turns eight today.
I didn’t set out to build a company like this. But a background in health, a bias toward good design, and a tendency to want to fix things for other people will take you to some interesting places.
From the beginning, the idea was simple: intimacy should be part of everyday life, not something hidden, overcomplicated, or hard to access. So we built products that are safe, effective, and designed to live with you. Nothing extra, nothing to decode.
Eight years in, that still holds. We’re not here to tell you what a moment should be, just to make sure you’re set up for it.
Sometimes at maude, we think a bit like Amélie, quietly wondering if everyone out there is having a good time, and if not, what small role we might play in helping things along. We put this together in honor of our mission (and one of our favorite scenes from the movie. Warning, sound is a bit ooh la la!).
As an 80s baby myself and with maude turning 8, we also put together a birthday playlist: Blondie, The Bangles, and a strong case for that era's love soundtracks, best enjoyed in your birthday suit.
