ELYSIUM
Welcome to autumn—and our October newsletter. This month, the biggest headline comes from the FDA, reaffirming consumer access to NMN. With this decision, NMN supplements remain in your hands—not pharma’s—unlocking benefits that continue to appear in leading scientific journals. You can watch our latest webinar with board-certified dermatologist Dr. Richard Granstein, who explores the science behind how skin ages and adapts over time. The Independent named Basis among the best NAD+ supplements for skin health. And Dr. Daniel Giordano, founder of Bespoke Physical Therapy, shares how he integrates Elysium into his busy schedule. Plus, MSN highlights Elysium’s clinical trial demonstrating the potential of NR-E to support lung health.
Dr. Richard Granstein
Renowned dermatologist Dr. Richard Granstein joined Elysium for a conversation about the remarkable role of your body’s largest organ—your skin. “The skin is a wonderfully complex, important organ subserving a whole host of necessary and key functions,” he explains. Dr. Granstein then discusses what skin aging really means, the factors that drive it (including UV exposure), and strategies to slow visible changes. He also examines the double-edged nature of sunlight: vital for health, yet a driver of long-term risk when the skin isn't protected.

greatday WASHINGTON | features Basis for menopause support
THE PROVEN NAD+ SUPPLEMENT
In honor of Menopause Awareness Month and World Menopause Day (October 18), Great Day Washington highlighted how Basis may support women during this life stage—by improving menopausal symptoms. “Elysium did a study to see how it might work with people with hot flashes, and it was a huge success,” said co-host of the segment Cheryl Kramer Kaye.
The FDA has officially ruled that NMN—the key ingredient in Signal—is a dietary supplement. For nearly three years, Elysium and others in the longevity science community fought to keep NMN accessible after a pharmaceutical company sought to classify it as a drug. The decision confirms NMN’s natural status, ensuring that Signal is here to stay.
The INDEPENDENT names Basis a "Best NAD+ Supplement"
The INDEPENDENT | The best NAD supplements, as recommended by experts
Recognized for its research-backed formula, Basis was named one of The Independent’s best NAD+ supplements of 2025. “There’s no such thing as a magic longevity pill. But NAD+ supplements might just be the next closest thing,” the article states. Basis earned praise for its proprietary combination of NR-E and pterostilbene—a synergistic formulation with benefits above and beyond ordinary NAD+ supplements.* They also noted that Basis can be bundled with Mosaic for visibly better skin.

wellworthy and a top physical therapist choose Matter for brain health
Matter | ELYSIUM
Dr. Dan Giordano, PT, DPT, CSCS and founder of Bespoke Physical Therapy, caught up with Wellworthy to talk about training hard when you’re short on time. “Consistency is key,” he says. “You don’t need to crush every workout. Showing up regularly adds up over time. Progress isn’t about perfection, it’s about commitment.” And when it comes to keeping his brain fit, Dr. Giordano relies on Matter, with its tri-vitamin complex patented to slow age-related brain atrophy. “Juggling life as an entrepreneur and a dad, I need to make sure my brain health is on point,” he says.
msn covers Elysium research: NR-E for COPD.
An Elysium research collaboration has been making news. In the clinical trial, a collaboration with researchers at the University of Copenhagen and funded by a grant from the Danish government, we evaluated the effect of Elysium’s proprietary nicotinamide riboside (NR-E) on clinical outcomes in elderly patients with COPD. The study results showed that NR-E supplementation supported a healthy inflammation response in the lungs. Elysium’s Ryan Dellinger, Ph.D., and Dayle Sampson, Ph.D., were coauthors on the study.
