Should I combine Cofactor with Basis and/or Signal?

Yes! While 250 mg has been shown to be the optimal dose, Elysium's clinical data indicates that higher doses increase NAD+ even further, though with less efficiency. Cofactor, Basis, and Signal each contain ‌250‌ mg of an NAD+ precursor. And, clinical studies show that daily supplementation with up to ‌2,000‌ mg of NR (the NAD+ precursor in Cofactor and Basis) or ‌1,000‌ mg of NMN (the NAD+ precursor in Signal) in healthy individuals is safe and well tolerated—many people choose to take ‌500‌ mg to 1 g of NAD+ precursors every day. Plus, Basis and Signal unlock additional cellular benefits you won’t get with Cofactor alone.

Maintaining NAD+ levels is an essential part of any longevity routine—skin included. NAD+ is a critical coenzyme found in every cell in your body that helps keep cells youthful and functioning optimally. In your skin, NAD+ levels decline by almost ‌60%‌ between young adulthood and middle age, impacting both collagen production and ceramide synthesis.

Does Cofactor replace Mosaic?

No. Mosaic and Cofactor are complementary and work hand-in-hand to create an optimal cellular environment for collagen production and maintenance by performing two distinct functions. Mosaic contains a unique Phytonutrient Carotenoid Complex, clinically proven to elevate levels of carotenoids—naturally occurring antioxidants—in the skin to combat internal and external stressors and protect collagen from degradation. Can I take Cofactor with Elysium’s other products, including Format and Mosaic?

Yes, Cofactor can be taken along with Elysium’s other supplements, including Format and Mosaic. The established upper limit for ‌vitamin‌ C is ‌2000‌ mg, more than 10x the amount in Cofactor and Format combined. Additionally, multiple clinical studies on the efficacy of hyaluronic acid for dry skin have been published at doses ranging from ‌37.42‌ ‌mg/day‌ to ‌240‌ ‌mg/day,‌ and have been found to be safe and well tolerated.
