Founded by potters in 2009, we’ve grown a lot since the early years of using a wood-fired kiln on an old tobacco farm just outside the city of Asheville, NC. Today, across our factory and offices, to our retail stores in Asheville and Atlanta, the East Fork workforce is made up of over 100+ employees. In the manufacturing process, so many humans have a hand in the work! Curious about how we go from clay to cup?

An Amalgamation of Food and Culture: a new festival comes to our hometown.

At their core, food festivals are designed to celebrate the food and beverage industries of a specific place or cuisine and push forward the stories and culture contained within those recipes.

However, over the years, as the festival model has been popularized, many have felt that they have failed in their mission and that a new model needed to emerge.

Always willing to ask questions and try something new, former employee and friend of the brand, JD Ellison, and his company are bringing a new approach to the idea of food festivals.

Introducing—Bite Me AVL, a new food culture festival coming to our hometown of Asheville, NC, and we’re so excited to be one of the key partners!
