John W. Rogers Jr.
John began investing at 12 with stock gifts from his father and built experience as a William Blair stockbroker. At 24, he founded Ariel to pursue patient, value investing in small- and mid-sized companies. A Princeton economics graduate and former varsity basketball captain, he serves on boards including Nike, the NYT, Ryan Specialty and the Obama Foundation.
