U.S. Soccer announced details for the 111th Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, an 80‑team tournament competing for a $1 million prize and a place in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup. Chicago Fire FC has announced that forward Georgios Koutsias has permanently transferred to FC Lugano after initially joining the Swiss club on loan earlier this year. Koutsias joined the Fire from PAOK FC in 2023 and made 57 appearances across all competitions over two seasons, contributing five goals and three assists in MLS play along with two goals in Leagues Cup action.
